The Kellner family have been making these characterful toy kits since the 1930's.

Georg Kellner, ingenious tinkerer, originally developed these charming characters for his own children. The models he built needed to be simple for their small hands, he faced the problem of joining wooden bodies, heads and limbs easily together, with joints that were stable and strong. He solved this by using pieces of coloured rubber tubing.

Each component can be placed in several spaces, hands and limbs can easily move to join one another in various places, creating new moods and characters.

All the components are inter-changeable, as your collection grows so does the world you create.
